Feature update –

What's new
in Strawberry

Chats now follow you between computers, companion-opened websites live inside the chat instead of cluttering your tab bar, and the first version of Workspace brings your Strawberry files and context together.

We’ve also spent the summer rebuilding the foundation behind your companions and made connected apps easier to discover.

Your chats, on every computer

Chats are now saved to your Strawberry account in the cloud. Sign in on another computer and your conversations and content will be there, ready to continue. Your messages are encrypted before they’re saved to your account.

This has been one of our most requested features. It is also the first step in our work to bring Strawberry to mobile in the future.

Companion pages now open inside the chat

A Strawberry chat with a website open beside the conversation

We’ve significantly changed how companions work with websites. When a companion opens a page, it no longer appears in your regular tab bar. Instead, the page stays connected to the chat where the work is happening, keeping your browser less cluttered and making it easier to follow what your companion is doing.

Click a link in chat to open the website beside your conversation. You can review the page, continue browsing, or take over whenever you want. The tabs you open yourself continue to work as before.

Introducing Workspace

Workspace Guides with projects, companions, skills, meetings, and files in the sidebar

Workspace gives you one place to find the files and context created across Strawberry. Browse your companion files, skills, meeting transcripts, projects, shared files, and team workspace from the sidebar.

This is the first version of Workspace. We’ll keep improving it as it grows into the center of your work in Strawberry.

A new foundation for what comes next

We spent much of the summer rebuilding the technical foundation behind Strawberry’s companions. You won’t see every part of this work immediately, but it gives us a stronger base for improving uptime, making chat responses faster, and keeping longer tasks reliable.

It also supports what we want to build next: Strawberry on mobile and, eventually, chats that can keep working even when your computer is closed.

A new place to discover apps

Open Apps from the New Tab menu to explore a dedicated page for connected and available apps. Browse by category and see what each app lets your companions do.

We’ve also continued improving reliability across the apps your companions use.
