What's new
in Strawberry

Your companion can now work with real folders on your Mac or PC. Pick a folder, approve it, and it can read, edit, and create files in there, changes show up in your actual files, not a copy. Everything stays inside a safe sandbox, so it can only touch what you open up.

A new Knowledge page brings your Memory, Reports, and Skills together in one searchable place. Under "Things to try," you'll find ideas tailored to your role and connected apps, tap one to start, or open "Discover use cases" for a guided Q&A that suggests something useful.

A new button in the top right corner shows every running task at a glance. Blue dot for new replies, amber dot for ones waiting on you. If a task is stuck on a CAPTCHA or asking a question, answer inline, no more hunting through tabs.

Next to the "Start browsing" button, a new menu lets you choose: always allow, allow in this chat, or ask every time. For when you already trust your companion to just run.

Grab any tab and pull it off the bar. Drop it anywhere to pop it into its own window, no reload, your page stays live. On Mac, you can also drop it on the left or right of the current page to split side by side with what you're already viewing.

• Smarter research: Your companion can now collect information from several URLs in one step, making multi-source research faster and more reliable.
• Reasoning blocks: When your companion works through a harder problem, its reasoning now appears in a tidy collapsible block instead of mixing into the chat as plain text.
• Team credits: Team members now see personal top-ups and shared team credits as separate balances, so it's clear which credits are being used. Starting a team also preserves any personal credits left in your current billing period.
• Gmail send-as: If you have more than one verified Gmail address, your companion now sends from the address you chose instead of falling back to the default.
• Bookmark shortcut: The shortcut to bookmark the current tab had been broken for a while, it works again now.
• Agent downloads: Files your companion downloads now live inside the chat where they were made, instead of one shared pile.
• Approve All: Groups several pending steps into one approval, even when they're different types, fewer clicks to let it run.
• File attachments: Files you attach to a message actually arrive with the message now, instead of getting deleted mid-send.
• Tab cycling: Cmd+P keeps cycling through tabs correctly even when the tab switcher is already open.
• Tab bar polish: Tabs now move more smoothly, with less flicker and cleaner translucent panels.
• Closing tabs: Closing the rightmost tab no longer freezes the neighboring tabs on hover, and your companion no longer accidentally closes tabs you opened yourself.
• Scrollbars: Long chats and sidebars show scrollbars again when there's more to see.
• Enter to send: Enter sends your message in chat and in the agent instruction box; Shift+Enter adds a new line, the way most chat apps work.
• Credit warnings: Strawberry now gives clearer warnings before actions that may use a lot of credits, and credit totals stay consistent while they update.
• Misleading notifications: Removed the "Task completed" popup in cases where the task was still running.
• GitHub files: Reading code files from GitHub now shows the actual file contents.
• Password manager: "Manage passwords" now opens the password settings screen.
• Password import on Windows: Password imports now work better with enterprise antivirus and EDR tools.
• Routines: Routines now run reliably for people with multiple profiles, and routines created from chat show up with readable names and instructions.
