Sites like Google Meet can now pop video into a floating window that stays on top while you keep working. No extensions, no setup.
Better Split-Screen
Viewing two tabs side by side got a proper picker. Click the split icon on any tab, pick what you want next to it, done. The whole flow is cleaner with better animations and more reliable pairing.
60% Smaller, significantly Lighter
The Strawberry app has been reduced by over 60% in disk space. On top of that, idle memory usage has significantly reduced through lazy loading meaning we dont waste resources things you dont use. Long sessions feel noticeably smoother.
Improvements and Bug Fixes
- Chat Rename: Right-click any chat in the history sidebar to rename it.
- Chat Reliability: Upstream provider issues (like Anthropic outages) now surface clearer error messages instead of silent failures.
- Agent Reliability: Asking your companion for feedback mid-task no longer accidentally stops the whole run. Tabs your companion was controlling are now properly released when it finishes, no more locked tabs.
- Stop/Cancel: Hitting stop or cancel is now more responsive, tool calls no longer linger or hang after you've cancelled a task.
- Passkeys: Fixed a payload issue that could cause passkey (fingerprint) creation to fail during sign-up.
- Autofill: Fixed popup placement and visibility issues with autofill at different zoom levels.
- Find on Page: Cmd/Ctrl+F now opens reliably and focuses the input immediately, no more blank or unresponsive search widgets.
- Address Bar: Localhost URLs now open directly instead of routing to a Google search.
- Skills: Imported chat skills now stay scoped to the correct companion, no more skills leaking across companions.
- Vertical Tabs: Fixed window dragging breaking after scrolling in vertical tab layouts.
- Tabs: Hides the close button on small tabs.
- Fixed a small bug with file ownership when opening files from chat.
- Fixed OneDrive login sometimes leaving behind empty blank tabs.
- Fixed importing from Edge getting stuck on first launch.
