Strawberry Claude

Twelve accounts read, twelve verdicts, nothing sent yet

A Strawberry companion opens the tabs, reads the last thread with each account, and hands back the quote every verdict rests on. Each record change waits on one click.

Ask once: read the last email thread with each of these twelve accounts and flag the ones where we never answered the question. Twelve verdicts come back, each carrying the quote it rests on, and nothing is written to a record until you click.

Strawberry is an agentic browser for macOS and Windows. A companion reaches 93 native integrations carrying 1,257 hand-written operations, 1,975 further apps as connected accounts, and the tab you are already signed into for everything else. One job can cross an ATS shortlist, a billing portal and a CRM in a single pass.

Claude in Chrome reads and acts on pages you are signed into on all paid plans as of this writing, one granted site at a time. The long crossing run is what Strawberry is built for, in accounts you are already signed into, with every write staged for a click.

Tabs held in one passThe ones you hand it: “Drag more tabs into Claude’s tab group and Claude works across all of them” (as of this writing)The companion opens them itself, many at once, and you watch the real tabs fill in
Site accessPermissions Mode grants access one site at a time, and Anthropic advises staying clear of “banking, health records, and anything with credentials”Every site your session already reaches is working surface, with a card in front of anything consequential
Writes staged for approval“Purchases, financial actions, and other one-way doors wait for you”, per its own pageA card before each send, record change and payment, and Ask Always mode in Settings → AI permissions puts one in front of every action
Reaching a tool with no connectorIts extension reaches “internal tools, legacy portals, admin consoles, and invoice systems” in Chrome, one granted site at a timeThe tab is already authenticated, so a companion reads it and fills it the way you would
Connected accountsRemote MCP connectors, as described on its own pricing page (as of this writing)About a hundred you authorise, with reads and staged writes, and a permission setting on each action

What can Claude in Chrome already do?

A fair amount, one granted site at a time.

Anthropic names internal tools, legacy portals, admin consoles and invoice systems, and describes dragging several tabs into Claude’s group so it can work across them. Pulling metrics from an analytics dashboard and logging a CRM entry are both listed.

The limits are Anthropic’s own. As of this writing:

  • It ships as a Chrome extension, so it works inside a browser Anthropic does not control, and the panel lives with the tab you opened it on.
  • Permissions Mode grants access one site at a time. The alternative is automatic approval with safety checks.
  • Claude stops before sensitive actions such as purchases and financial transactions.
  • The page names prompt injection as a real risk and advises avoiding banking, health records, and anything with credentials you would not share.

Where does the work actually happen?

In your tabs.

A companion opens them itself, forty at a time, and you watch the real tabs fill in. Claude works in a chat and borrows a tab when a task needs one.

That decides what is reachable. A companion inherits everything your session already reaches: the ATS with the ugly login, the billing portal your CFO set up in 2021, the internal dashboard with no API. For 93 apps, Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Notion, Salesforce, Linear and Apollo among them, a native integration with 1,257 operations does the work instead of clicking. What that looks like on one tool is under Gmail.

The Tuesday 08:20 pass

A support lead’s morning, with the clock on it:

  • 08:20. Companion opens the ticket queue, 61 new since Friday, and reads every one.
  • 08:26. 14 tagged as the same billing bug, grouped with the account names and plan tiers pulled from the billing dashboard next door.
  • 08:31. Nine replies drafted, each quoting the customer's own sentence back, all sitting as drafts.
  • 08:33. You read nine drafts, approve seven, rewrite two, and the queue is triaged before the standup.
  • The plan tier gets checked first every time, which is the part nobody does by hand.

Put the pass on a schedule

Routines run the same pass on a daily time, an interval, a cron expression or an app trigger such as a new email, each with its own run history. The Monday pipeline sweep, the overnight list refresh, the Friday competitor pass.

Turn on Keep Awake and they finish with the lid closed, because Strawberry holds the machine awake for the length of the run. Finished runs are published at /real-runs and the approval model is at /security. Claude Cowork schedules a daily, weekly or monthly task, as of this writing.
