Troubleshooting

Mac: "Strawberry cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer"

Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway next to the Strawberry message.

Mac: Strawberry is slow or unresponsive

Make sure you have at least 4GB of free RAM. Close other heavy applications if needed.

Windows: Installation blocked by SmartScreen

Click More info on the SmartScreen dialog, then click Run anyway. This happens because Strawberry is new software that Windows has not seen many times yet.

Windows: "Missing DLL" or runtime errors

Make sure Windows is fully updated. Go to Settings → Windows Update and install any pending updates.

Both: Cannot sign in

Check your internet connection. If you are on a corporate network, you may need to allow Strawberry through your firewall or VPN.

Strawberry is installed. Next, let us look around so you know where everything is.
