Google Analytics Strawberry

Automate your GA4 reporting with an AI agent

Get last week’s numbers written up and posted every Monday, with the reason they moved. You connect Google Analytics once and never open it again.

Ask four people for last week’s signups and you get four numbers. Different date range, different conversion event, different channel grouping, and nobody wrote down which.

A companion runs the same query every week and posts it where your team already reads: same dimensions, same metrics, same window, same property id. Then it tells you why the number moved, which GA4 cannot.

Why do your GA4 numbers never match?

Sessions or users.

First-user source or session source. The event somebody renamed in April. A window that is seven days on one report and twenty-eight on another. Every one of those gives a defensible number, and a different one.

A companion pins it. The dimensions, the metrics, the window and the property id sit in one instruction you reviewed once, and it runs that same instruction every week.

What can an AI agent do in GA4?

The actions GA4’s API exposes, and the accurate list lives in the Available tools section of the Google Analytics entry under `strawberry://settings/integrations`, with read-only tools marked. Analytics is mostly a reading surface, so this is one of the calmer connections in the catalog.

The Permissions block on the same page sets each action to Ask every time, Always allow, or off, on top of the approval card consequential steps already stop at. Switch off any management action that could touch a property or a data stream, and the connection reads and nothing else.

Find out why traffic dropped

Why.

GA4 tells you organic traffic to the pricing page fell 18% week on week. It has no idea that a competitor launched, that a documentation page got renamed and lost its backlinks, that the paid campaign was paused on Tuesday because a card expired, or that the drop is entirely one bot that stopped crawling.

Those answers are in other tabs. A companion reads the GA4 numbers and then reads Search Console, the ads account, the deploy log and the support queue in the accounts you are signed into, and writes the paragraph that explains the dip. That is the marketing version of an incident review, and doing it weekly is what automated competitor monitoring turns into once the numbers are attached.

The work people want done crosses the boundary of GA4 constantly, and it ends in a document, a deck or a Slack message. A companion carries it that far: the numbers, the reasons, the two sentences of context, delivered where the conversation happens. The recurring shape of that is a weekly metrics digest.

Google, as of this writing, surfaces natural-language insights inside the property itself, which suits "which channel drove the most conversions last month". Anything whose answer sits partly outside the property is the pass described above.
