Turn a sixty-company list into verified email addresses
One instruction, sixty domains. A companion finds the right person at each, verifies the address, and hands back the sheet with the misses left visibly empty.
You have sixty companies in a sheet and you need one operations lead at each. In the Hunter dashboard that is sixty domain searches, sixty scans of the result list, sixty copies back into the sheet. Two hours, and the second hour is worse than the first.
A companion does all sixty in one pass: domain search filtered by department or seniority, the email finder where the search is unclear, verification on every address, company enrichment to drop the misfits, and a credit check before it starts. Hunter is a native integration, connected with an API key.
Sixty domains, one instruction
The companion works the list the way you would, without the fatigue: domain search per company with the department filter set, pick the person whose title matches what you asked for, fall back to the email finder when the search returns the switchboard address, and record the confidence score and verification state on each.
What arrives is the sheet you were going to build by hand: name, title, address, confidence, source, with the misses left empty rather than guessed.
What does “verified” actually mean here?
More than a green tick.
Verification returns a status and a score plus the signals underneath: whether the domain has valid mail exchange records, what the mail server said, whether the domain accepts everything regardless of the local part, and whether the address belongs to a disposable provider.
State your rule once and a companion applies it to every list afterwards: drop disposables, hold catch-all domains in a separate pile, send only to addresses that were actually confirmed.
How many credits will this pass cost?
Hunter meters what you do, and finding out at company forty-one that the month is spent is the unpleasant version. The account tool returns remaining credits, so a companion opens with the arithmetic: this list needs roughly this many lookups, you have this many left, here is where I will stop.
You then prioritise the twenty accounts that matter, run those, and decide about the rest with a number in front of you.
Qualify the company before you spend a lookup
Finding the address is the cheap half.
Deciding the company is worth an address lives on their website: what they sell, who they sell it to, whether they have the team you are pitching. A companion enriches the company for industry, size and the technologies it runs, reads the site to confirm it, and drops the misfits first.
The addresses that survive flow onward in the same pass rather than through a CSV: into your CRM record, into the draft, into the list your team works. That is sales prospecting with the clerical middle removed, and it looks a lot like data extraction.
